Showing appreciation to our active duty military, veterans and first responders might seem cliché but today, no matter your political affiliation, it should be something each and every one of us go out of our way to do, and not just on Veterans Day, but 24/7/365.

As the President & CEO of the parent corporation that proudly has Fishermens Heaven amongst its many great companies, and as a Veteran myself, I always want to set the best example to that rallying cause and so as a company, we just don’t talk the talk, we walk the walk, in actively expressing our appreciation to these brave men and women in rewarding them for their service and sacrifice.

In addition, wherever possible we work to make sure Veterans are always included in our hiring process and where applicable, those disabled in the line of duty are given special disposition.

We actively work to take these “serving angels” and their families fishing, and we support charities that work to help them with their everyday needs. As a company, we decided that saying thanks for their service just wasn’t enough and we encourage all of you to do the same.
